1. Butler having a dad who will sit on the floor and pet him when they're both having a tough day
2. Gracie having a mom who will take her out twice in a row because it's hard for a lady to get down to business when a big black greyhound is tugging at her and getting in her way and such
3. singing to Butler to help him settle
4. the fact that my singing to Butler helps him settle
